Finally A Close Shot
Was at this Motor Racing Competition @ Kallang last week or was it the week before last. It was really interesting to see as I have long forgotten the thrills of being a pillion rider. Its really noisy to watch but interesting is something I cannot deny. We brought Kayla along who could actually fall asleep despite the loud sounds of the bikes. Really amazing, I see she takes after me as I can fall asleep almost everywhere when I am burnt out.
Long past the days where Kel rides and Sab shops to her max delight and rides home with the hands full of bags. Those were the courting and primary days of our life togther. These days we are so different as we have become family oriented. Weekdays are quite anti-social except the colls at work. Weekends are almost the same, we prepare the kids, bring them for meals, do our grocery shopping and sometimes I bring Jonath for time together. Gone are the days where I live for today and not tomorrow. I have learnt much over the years which is to have responsibilty in the things that I do. I have learnt to put my family before my needs. Well sometimes humans tends to mistake needs which are really wants.
Maybe i am going to sit down today after the normal chores that I have to reflect on what I really need and want. I could end up saving some dough here since I am so good at spending it without second thoughts. Its redundant to earn the best salary and not saving. I hate to see people around going bust on credit line. Its dumb to believe in credit if that is all u have.
Thing about this logically: Whats the use if u have earn 5k n u spend 2.5 on this fantastic car and its maintenance. Well u are left with 2.5 and using this half strength, u have to eat, pay your dues and bills and what are u left with to save? 200 - 400? If u have the earning power, this should not be the case because your life will be a endless cycle. You will be asset rich and vitamin M poor. Not really my cup of tea as I am not a risk taker. Well lets just i rather be simple and stable then to end up being sued in court for bankruptcy. All material things in life are a facade, no one remembers what u have but more of what u r.
