Watched Avatar at Marina last night with Kel, it was a truly amazing movie with all its 3d effects. We both enjoyed it tremendously and Yes we deliberately did not bring both kids as we had already put them both to sleep and we brought them both the night before to watch Bodyguard n Assassins. The kids have been rather good recently, very obedient when it comes to Studying but when put together for Play, its like the East meets West.

Each day when I go out further than the boundaries of Bedok South, I get really worried as the bubble may burst anytime. So far I tink everything is in place and most things prepared. I pray this will be a smooth transistion for us. :)

Anyway pls go watch Avatar, coming back to the topic of the movie we caught last night, i seem to deviate alot these days. Worrying too much. Avatar deserves a rating of 9/10 from us but I am sure over time many more 3d productions will be released and would fare better but right now its No 1 for us both. The graphics were really good especially the Holy Garden and Tree and entire Forest that The Na'vis live in. Kel felt teary from watching the movie and the glasses. I saw him wiping his eyes a couple of times as there were tears coming. Right now he is like playing Taptap like Kayla at the back of me. They are so alike at times.

Ok i will have to pen again as I am feeling aches on the back now. Till then toodles. Merry Xmas to all my dear ones.

Quiet Week

Kids are all back from Genting and its been a quiet week for us, we stayed indoors as the egg is about to crack anytime. Been getting contractions every now and then, so much so that I am getting used to it now and not the least afraid of the day to come.

Kel just went out ahwile, will be back shortly to bring the kids back to Bedok and we can have some quiet time alone. Prob we'll catch Avatar tonight, we watched Bodyguards and Assasins yesterday, it was quite good I must say. We wanna watch the 3D version without the kids.. Keke

Just finished doing the online EOP requirments for hiring of FDW. Took me about an hour, such a waster of time but have to do, its compulsory. Finished packing my maternity bag for that mad rush to the hospital too. So many things to do I tell u.. Last week we finished up with buying of the basics and making space for little Charlene to come along. Actually we still not decided on the name, we thought of Charlene but still not affiramtive on the spelling of the name. So lets see...

Ok for now, i need to catch up with my Aunt over the phone.. Toodles friends.. Will hope to post some pics from Xmas soon or who knows Labour Process and our little Arrival. Merry Xmas Dear All...

8 mths Preg Sabby

Been spending alot of time at home lately.. Been unwell due to contractions and many others due to pregnancy = am about to embark on my ML tomorrow as well. This way I wil be able to rest properly and have some time to myself.

Went to Dr Heng today and there went my entire day as I wa shaving contractions, had 4 contractions in 15 mins. Then there was another of Labour which I find too personal to write here. Tom morning Poor Kel has got to TCS and pick up my stuff as I need the rest at home and I am trying to avoid moving ard. Baby is considered very small for delivery and I am trying my best not to go into early labour.

Its getting late now and I should really go rest as I tire so easily lately. Tata for now.

Quiet Monday

Updating my blog quietly without any noise today, am at MIL place, Jonath @ Jurong and Kayla @ Bedok.

Had dinner with them earlier and now I am just surfing and propping my feet on hgiher ground to stop the cramps. Missing both kids alot thou.. Kayla has been a handful lately, she has been stubborn and disobdient, been reading of the sites that Kids at her age which is 35 months are trying to have a charcter of their own, they may need a longer time to reason with and you have to explain to them in detail about many things. Its really a finding out yourself stage. Kids these days are really different from us in the past.

I am looking forward to catch these movies which I hope will come soon before my bubble burst or at least after my 1 mth confinementt.

I wonder why thera are all cartoons, I think i am getting younger but actually i feel like I am aging tremendously. Sighs.. I get lots of mixed emotions lately no idea why, i can be so happy now and unhappy the next. Think i am now a much quieter person except to Kel who I can rattle on non stop, at least, its not nagging.

Time for me to go lie down now, back is aching and teeth has 4 - 5 cavities, losing calcium and dentist not willing to treat a preggie like me.

Been A Long Time

Been the longest time since i last updated here as my health has been poor and obviously I am like almost 8 mths preggers now. Its actually been a tough ride for me the last few mths, took lots of leave as well and am looking forward to our new arrival.

Kel is still working till now as he is handling a big scale project. and should be returning late only after completing everything.

I went with my aunt to 313 today, it feels great each time i go out with her as she will advise me to buy what i need and not want. Basically today I did not buy except for Greg's Xmas present and I have completed all my presents for all the kids back home. Xmas is season for sharing and giving, i always believe in this. Its the only time of the year where I truly feel at peace, i love the season so much. This year we are having a Xmas party back home, Mummy trina will cook Turkey as per Abi request and Chicken wings as per mine. I hope she does not make Popiah which seems rather off tune.

My New Year Resolution, to recoup losses and to return what I need to. Its about time to straighten things up with our new arrival. You will lose and gain some, thats just the order of life i guess. Lets pray and hope for the best!

Miss blogging so much, soon i will lots of time to blog and I will be able post many pics of my new arrival and my other two Precious. Toddles everyone, its pretty late now.

These are pictures as promised from National Day Eve of the room I stayed in Peninsula Excelsior. I had best view if I wanted to see the fireworks but we didnt manage to due the hotel management not relaying the correct msg across.

After writing in that feedback form after our bad stay there, We received a complimentary one night staff from their Reservation Manager Christy. He sent an email to me informing me of the night's stay at any date of my choice. We stayed there last friday and we given very good service this time in their premium floors. I will post more pics next time for our stay last week.

This was a tough weekend thou.. Shall not mention much... Toodles dear friends.

My best confidante at work went back to homebase which is Delhi in July, been trying to send him the pics and finally I have the chance today. My foto size is too huge and I am waiting for TKL to downsize them for me. It took me nearly a mth to upload these pics and now I am thinking whet to wait some more for Kel to downsize or to send them to KK one by one. Poo.. Lets see whether i get sleepy aft this, had a hard day giving Jonath Chinese Tuition till 6pm then went out with Kel, Kay and Jonath for nice quiet dinner, my head nearly burst at the amount of Chinese today, I really pity the school kids these days, their work requires much more than when I was in Primary school, standards have risen tremendously with time. There are pros n cons I guess.

Am not asleep right now and today is the Nation's birthday and also the 5th year of being with Mr Kel Tay, he is beside me now playing some crazy games on his I phone. I say crazy bcoz sometimes he will fling his hand and has very strong movements in the midst of excitement during a game. And been hit by his over excitement twice, walau... Quite pain, secondly I hate shocks and thirdly I hate games la.. I never play games for more than 5 mins, like waste of time to me. I rather slp, shop or sms. :)

Awhile ago Kel Tay brought me to City Hall in the middle of the nite, he wanted to surprise me and when we got here he said ok this is where we will stay for the next 2 nites. Hey this is a relaxation i tell u as we got into a squabble fm last nite and I was tinking there goes our Ani as we were really having cold war even this morning, I was tinking to myself what a Sui day. Well things are better now and we had a long talk. We get along realli well when on good terms and we cannot get into arguements, we are like 2 dogs tearing at each other when it happens, few ppl will know if they ever got stuck in btw and i truly apologize.

I am hoping to invite Sis n fam over to catch the display of fireworks as we planned to go somewhere to watch it, now all the better. So I better turn in as its like 625am, gosh!!! Tata my dear frens, hoping to show much more pix when I fix my sizeable issues which IT morons like me cannot do one.. wahahha...

Fathers day was simple this year and this is a very lste entry as I have been very busy with some personal agenda of my own and also taking up property lessons in the evening. Like my side line, I always welcome more income. Getting tired of office bound recently, maybe a full career switch to somethhing else in time to come would be ideal. Have discussed this with Kel who thinks the same as he can my weariness from my current job and its entails. We have some plans which hopefully materilises by end of 2009.

Dear Mui, do come here to copy the pics that u need ya, the files are too huge and I will take forever to send them as usual.

Dad was really happy to have us all celebrating this special day with him, girls were glad to have him around as well, the girls were constantly in his embrace and kisses. It was really nice having dinners and get togethers like this.

The night ended with our prayers at Depot, our initial plan was to catch movie with Mui and Bro at Iluma. Guess what, we all fell alsp after we hit the beds at Mui's place, only Mui was alert enuff to give us wake up calls n smses but I guess the sleep was just too good. Morning after we had family bfast at Mac which was the kids fav of course at Teban. I am not entirely sure its Teban bcoz I suck at the West side. Kids were playing with fishes and turtles after makan. Kel was like a big kid la, he fished a turtle out of the pond, poor Turtle la.
Being Dad is really great because u get served upon for the weekend, meals and all misc eg massage is paid for bcoz its your week. But guess what u all deserved it bcoz its ur week! Mui and I r getting ready for next year MD thou, hold and Behold!

It was a great weekend and we all enjoyed this family get together. :)

Boring Long Weekend

Its the long weekend and I am not sure where I should start on my work, imagine how boring can that be? Its the month end and all entries are to be passed into my favourite Ultimatix :( Managed to complete about half, and the difficult ones all at the back. I am going to do my best to complete else I will have to make a trip down for further training from Mr Kamal. Brought back about 10kg of work, training the arms u knw..

Tomorrow will be a better day, Kayla wil be around and at nite Kel and I are going to Sabai. Lets see who else we will ask along, last weekend was fun so lets hope this weekend will be better or at least the same.

I have many pics with Ple and New, I will find my cable n upload tom. Its fun to take endless pics with girls who are fun. Things are not in their right sequence today, I told Kel but he is stubborn n not listening. So sometimes u will just sink along the way bcoz u fail to see the pattern. Only he wil understand my point.

Spoke to Air earlier and she was skating, its sad to see ur life go down the drain or u behaving irregularly just because of certain issues. Never let certain things pull ur life down, I have been there done that and I felt the pain from it. And I have walked away from it. Dear Air, I will always still care for u nI will stand up for u whether u r right or wrong. Hold on GF.

Alright prob many wont understand what I am writing tonight but its heartfelt words most of them at least. Good nite dear ones, till the next time.

Weekend was good, friday was down at Sabai again. We had a better time this weekend than the last. Met alot of friends I didnt see for the longest time there. Kamal, Kel, Anita, Damien, Des, New and Bf was there. It was quite fun even though when I reached there it was almost 3am.

I have some old pics too that was taken on a night Kel n I decided to spend some time alone.. We had fun thou it was shortlived.

The end of weekend was family time,grandma and grandaunt decided to cook my fav soup and fish, went back and had the best dinner i had in the last few mths. In case u didnt know, I haven been eating n sleeping well. I dunnno why....

Ok I wanna go watch tv nw, was allowed to have some free time wout kids tonight after some persuasion so I am going to relax myself and be ready for a fresh new week tomorrow. :) Cheers!

Outing With K & K

Kamal is going back soon, its really sad as its been a very good experience working and Learning from KK. Kel and I brought Kamal out to watch the night scene in Spore last nite. We had a good time with many other funny events that took place. Kamal is a good friend and my manager at Work!!

1st Stop: Nana at Central Mall, we had a bottle of Mclaren there. We had a great time joking, drinking and talking to different Coyotes. We left after about an hour to Sabai Sabai.

2nd Stop: Sabai Sabai at Shenton Way, we had lots of fun there. Some lady from Nana came down to Sabai and there were more ladies who joined us to entertain Kamal. It was really quite happening, we got a great seat in the middle in front of the stage. Performances there were much better than Nana. Got to know Kelvyn better there, am supposed to have dinner with him for certain favours i asked. ;)

3rd Stop: Supper beside Sabai, we were eating there when a fight that broke out outside came to our table, this really big fat gut got drunk and started shouting at us, threw our utensils around till kel nearly punched him, the bouncers at Sabai were in time to pull him away. That spoilt my appetite really. B4 food came, I was watching the fight from at least 50 meters the next thing i knew the fight was at our table. Not very nice of these drunk ppl to upset our meal , so wead if u drunk, it does not give u the right to throw my food or utensils around. Damn..

Well that was the entertainment for the nite and I went back home with Kel and we both slept like babies because we didnt really slp much the nite b4.

Its another 4 mths to our aniversary, its a really nice date this year and u will never see such a nice date again. Kels bday is around the corner, I am going to get a nice present that he wil prob love, once again he loves anything that I get him. Aft that would be my bday, hoping we can go for short getaway just the both of us. Recently few things happened and we were kinda shaken, after this ordeal and a good talk, we realised that we shld not be the least affected.. We have come to terms with certain tings n we are both going to change to make this marriage a living heaven instead of hell. After all we have been together for years and what else is there that can tear us apart, I would say almost nothing. We make mistakes at certain times of our life but its about changing and not repeating. We are so similar and we know each other too well. I am glad I have a found a friend, lover and confidante in u, you are my pillar of support as always. Am hoping u will read this soon, Ducky!

Been 3 mths since I last wrote, close friends will know why. These are random pics since 2 mths back, we have CNY, Waterpark outing, recent weekend. Thanks Mui for sending so many pix so that I can start off my blog again.

Been lazy to write n busy like a bee, cant wait to clear the backlog n for Income Tax to clear for everyone. Work, Kids, Slp, life becoming rather mundane and I guess that summarises my life for now.

CNY was quiet this year, first day was with family and second day we went Jon's plc and 3rd day back to work :< :< :<

Its a nice n windy Sunday, past few days was good. Went with Kel n friends for a few drinks friday night, went down to Vogue n Nana. Gimson and his friend came along. Its always nice chatting up with old friends.

Spend saturday swimming with kids and all at Jurong, it was fun but tiring, had a slight argument with Kel at night but everything was resolved. :} Will try to upload some swimming pics if I get them from mui.

Its Prawning day and Kel is gonna catch the kind cobra, he said, lets see. At sister's place nw and kel is beside me gaming. He stinks as he refuses to wash up b4 gaming, i am going to nag v soon.

Hoping to catch many prawns for my drunken prawn dish later.

My brother in law, Winson got married over the weekend at Novotel. A nice hotel thous small but cosy. Food was good and the night view was view from the 6th flor lobby.

It was hectic weekend for Kel & I as we spent our last 3 days as Kayla wad admitted to KKH due to an eye infection, i will upload more pics of her eyes and u can see how bad it was. So parents beware, when ur child gets a sore eye always tk precaution as the minor irritation may lead to further problems like adverse skin infection and this skin infection can cause brain damage.

We went to Tampines for the event of tea ceremony in the morning once discharged. Slept at noon to recover on sleep loss and headed to hotel for the dinner. By the time we got back it was really late and bb n i slept soundly thru the nite.

Building a bear is great fun, Jonath wants to have a go at it in Dec when its his birthday. He can have a bear workshop with his friends as his party. A great idea for kids to have fun and learn how a bear is made. Always wanted to build a bear of my own and yes I got mine on Saturday :).

I brought Hum to life yesterday and chose clothes and shoes all for her. My own special teddy now living in her little white home. :> U shld try it too!

Last days in SHS was not easy as i thought. Talked to everyone who kept popping by place to bid goodbye, i will definitely miss everyone and we will keep in contact.

I will always remember finance when I wear my Onyx heart bracelet and Statistics when i wear my hearts pendant. Thank you for the beautiful gifts which everyone thought symbolized me a lot. Shopping was good in KL, went there with Steven, Doreen, Andy and Kayla.

Stayed at Impiana KLCC which is just at the back of KLCC. We were staying the heart of KL where you can find good food, shopping and all the night spots. Only manage to go drinking on one night as I brought Kayla on my trip and such places not so good for toddlers like her.

Had dinner at many good restaurants. Was there only for 2 nights so I managed to shop only at KLCC and Mid Valley. But that was good enough, hehe.

Starting on my new job in TCS as such i was so busy and didnt manage to blog the past one week. Have 2 days rest before i embark on my new journey. :)

With its highly Harajuku-friendly theme, we had a decent Japanese meal here.The menu had a good variety, with many options for teppanyaki, sushi and sashimi—as well as tempura a la cartes and sets, the actual meal was delicious The teppanyaki codfish was good—crispy on the outside and flaky on the inside.

We opted for the ala carte Buffet which was at $39.80 / pax. Value for money as u get to order almot everything fm their menu. Had a bloated tummy when I walked out. Would definitely go back for more. Noted the waitresses actually key our orders into this remote control gadget, so cute la.

Must try their king prawns, huge n simply best tasting. Overall Rating: 7.5 / 10

Will be taking a short break to KL, Malaysia next weekend. Am looking forward to do some shopping and to let loose. Will be my last time to spend some quality time with Dor while I am still with SHS. Will miss her so much when i leave and join TCS.

Went online just now to see the hotel(Hotel Impiana KLCC) that Dor has confirmed on, in the heart of KLCC, not bad a choice, left hotel reservations in her hands as I have been so busy at work teaching new staff and handing over my porfolio. I love to stay in quality hotels when i am not in town as it really relaxes me when I get to sleep comfortable after a long day of walking and partying.

Am still deciding whether to bring Kayla on this short trip as I wont have much time there. My last day happens to be end of this mth and i have a couple of days till I officially start anew at TCS.

Alright will post more pics when I am back from the trip, gotta research on my project right now and its getting rather late. Till the next time, toodles.

Took a short trip to Jb to do up my nails, in the end got my hair done instead. Color nt quite like me. As many know i have this nail biting habit and i am trying my best to quit it as such i wanted to get a cheap yet good pair of Acrylic and even nail bar rejected me as my nails were too short. :< Sad rite?

Ate Sushi King which was not too bad la u know. Will be going KL with Doreen and Steven during the Deepavali hols. My last break before i start on my new agenda. And yes I resigned last friday from SHS, will be joining the new com on 28th Oct, bought over and am joining them in 2 weeks time. :> Wishing myself a smooth sailing path ahead. Caught this last week, wanted to watch 20th Century Boys but the timing was really bad for me. As usual timing is always factor for me. Honey Bunny was funny and quite touching at the end. Reminds me of school days of how we try to fit in and do silly things that are nt quite ourselves. Its a funny movie with a not so dumb blonde and tocuhing story line. 6.5 / 10

Zoo - Childrens Day

Peeks of us at the Zoo on Childrens Day, woke up super early to bring them to Octoburst Coloring Competition at esplanade. Being children, they were so looking to winning at the competition and even lined up up at the winners area. It was really tough for me trying to tell them they didnt win. But I am sure they had fun.

Aft the coloring competition, I brought them to the Zoo and trust me the whole of Spore was there too. It was really tiring to queue at least 30mins for everything, tickets and food and even toilet but I held on as I wanted the kids to have nothing but fun on their special day. Headed to North Pt for Sushi at dinnertime only to realise only fast food outlets left as most of the shops were closed for renovation. In the end we walked to near by kopitiam for zicha instead which was not very nice. I was asleep by 10.30 pm that night as all my energy was totally zapped by the outing and kids.

So today we r all going for cheryl's birthday. Its at Downtown east bought her this realli cute cake from Angie the Choice. Actually Andy bought it as he is invited tonight as well. Lets hope she likes it and has a birthday. :> Till then Tata.

Personal View: Movie 2 draggy, General's wife moved me as she was willing to give up everything incld her life for her husband.
The vixen who was Zhou Xun was very pretty and she had a very sexy voice. Love women with rough voices, haha sounding like a psycho.

Personal view: I loved the movie and the songs featured. The kind of movie that makes u wanna throw your feet and just eat some popcorn. Featuring some very strong women in the show, women are really great in bringing up their children and protecting their. Jonath always tells me Mum, I love u because you gave birth to me like a cat and look after me since i was a baby. I have no idea why cat but thats his personification of Mummy in that sense.

Singhealth's Annual A.C.T.I.V.E day at Hort Park, enjoyed myself apart fm the ugly blisters i got fm walking in Heals. I didnt read the email properly which said we had to walk 3 km. I went in heals which left me with 3 blisters. And there after I even went to school and later Bugis to agravate my wounds further. It was truly awful and I am gonna lie low for a while now from my heals.

Hort Park, the shortened term for Horticulture Park, is the National Park Board’s latest ‘hot’ place in the Southern Ridges to visit in Singapore. This 23-hectare plot of land off Alexandra Road is a ‘hot’ family-friendly place, fronted by an imposing Hort Park building that leads into the Garden Walk, a green corridor of numerous mini-gardens and plant nursery rooms in Singapore.

Lately I have been into movies as a form of destressing and I have caught 5 movies in the past 2 weeks.

My favorite would be the Thai Movie called 1. '4Bia', 2. Mirrors, 3. Bangkok Dangerous, 4. Sui Yue (Chinese Silly Ah Beng Movie), 5. Disaster Movie (Dun waster your $$) Hoping to catch Painted Skin next and Eagle Eye. So costly these days to watch during weekends but i still do because its the best way for me to stop thinking of work and school.

4Bia:

In this movie, four uniquely independent horror stories that could have easily become whole movies on their own are put together back-to-back as they are not linked whatsoever. By sequence, the stories are "Happiness", "Tit For Tat", "In The Middle" and "Last Fright". Each runs about half an hour and you will find that they go straight to the point, without much hesitation and the unnecessary chitchat in between.

In "Happiness", it is a very short and simple story to play around. I adore the fact that you can relate to how the main feels in every situation she's facing, like the intense fear of being watched by someone or something. The main character plays her role convincingly well.

"Tit For Tat" - this isn't the kind of story I would want to make into a full feature. It didn't really capture my interest except for the ending. The cinematography was unforgivable as the shaky effects were used too frequently and at some point, the scenes didn't show the audience clearly what had really happened. The effects used were rather average but the effort is there.

Next, "In The Middle" is possibly the best story out of the bunch. It gives the audience a dose of both horror and comedy. The actors who played four best friends conversed with one another so fluently and convincingly that you just couldn't seem to hate them. In the story, there is a familiar twist (been there, done that), however it still made the story better.

Lastly, "Last Fright" tells the story of a flight attendant who is haunted by a spirit (or rather the dead body of a woman) on a plane. Out of the bunch, this was a very 'plane' (please excuse the intended lame pun) story. Story line wasn't up to par with the others. It's a weak attempt. The ending didn't have that extra "oomph" to end the whole movie either.

However, "4bia" was definitely a unique blend of horror and comedy; and it does give a good scare-you-out-of-your-pants reaction that makes it worth the watch.

Personally i liked the last story best. One should never seduce married men and learn to keep their distance. Its not right and you would not your own marriage to be disturbed. So vice versa respect others and yourself.

Mirrors:

Kiefer Sutherland plays an ex-cop turned night security guard at a long-closed department store ravaged by fire. He discovers something awry in the store's mirrors, which seem to bring out the worst in people and realises that they harbour a horrific secret that threatens him and his family.
I was personally shocked by my reflections for a while after catching the movie.

Bangkok Dangerous:

This remake of Danny and Oxide Pang's 1999 movie has Nicholas Cage as a cold-blooded hitman who travels to Thailand to finish four missions. He ends up falling in love with a local woman (Charlie Young) and befriends an errand boy.

Well Charlie looked ver sweet in this picture and the errand boy was quite funny. I rate this movie 2/5 only though as I expected much more of it. It was like no other action flick.

The Days (Sui Yue):

Based on a true story THE DAYS tells a cautionary tale between two brothers, set between 1989 and 1990. In a misguided effort to teach BABY (IVAN LIM ) independence, and to make him feel protected, ZI LONG (JUSTIN CHAN) brings him into his own gang of delinquents, introducing him to his group nicknamed The 4 Heavenly Kings DOG, the silent fighter; COCKROACH, the loudmouth and TAUPER, the motorbike riding free soul together with their surrogate leader JEREMY TAN. Unknowingly, his decision has thrown them both into a tumultuous and violent world that will, in different ways, imprison them both.

This was a show that brought back many memories (good n bad) of my younger days. Seemed like a budget production, heard that many ppl in the 30s went to catch this movie to reminiscence their past. So funny la. But I felt it was so-so and so did my friends. But this movie is based very true facts and should be appreciated for its effort to bring back the past.

Disaster Movie:

In Disaster Movie, the filmmaking team behind the hits Scary Movie, Date Movie, Epic Movie and Meet The Spartans this time puts its unique, inimitable stamp on one of the biggest and most bloated movie genres of all time --the disaster film.

Disaster Movie follows the comic misadventures of a group of ridiculously attractive twenty-somethings during one fateful night as they try to make their way to safety while every known natural disaster and catastrophic event - asteroids, twisters, earthquakes, the works hits the city and their path as they try to solve a series of mysteries to end the rampant destruction.

Taking aim at everything and everyone, from Indiana Jones and Iron Man to Amy Winehouse and High School Musical, Disaster Movie lampoons the blockbuster movie, pop culture icons and public figures along the way as Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer satirize everything as only they can.

This was the worst movie i hv caught in the past few yrs, did not understand who they trying to imitate and movie left me feeling irritated there after. And i thought i could relax a little aft a long hard day at work.

What 2 do next?

Been wanting to post some pics of my Batam trip but didnt have the time at all since I got back. Had a good time there but came back to good old town with lots of work backlog and class tests.

Trip's overall rating thumbs up as it was relaxing and a very good resort to stay in. And yes the rooms were clean and service was good. I guess you get what you pay for. Holiday Inn left a memorable birthday impression in me as my friends planned many surprises during my stay there. Those above were when I just got there. I brought cam along but forgot the memory card. Managed to only get 8 pix on hotel n its surrounding from dig cam and the rest fm my hp so pls pardon the poor quality. And the best part is the 8 pix is with Doreen in her cam so will upload later when i get the pix from her. When i got back its like I had 150 pics in my silly phone. And of course not everything is worth blogging.

Day 1 @ Batam:

Arrived in Batam at about 6pm with little reception to hp, smses got stuck in Outbox, only realised after mid night aft drinks i think. First day did not do mush, had dinner at Nagoya and bumped into some unpleasant ppl. A real small world. Survery Nagoya shopping which was nt really fantastic. Bcoz u only can find funny fashion, hyper mart and restaurants there. Nothing u wld really wanna get. I think I got a pair of heals there at Summit, well i can buy shoes in any country and continent. I love Shoes to Bits and some donkey stole @ least 8 pairs of my shoes. I hope u get Stinky Feet! Went to this little Joint called Isabella for massage aft walking a bit. It was only about sing dollars 18 and u get full massage for 2 hrs. Beat that. Aft massage u get a free ride home in a suv to ur hotel. But i stayed too far which is in Waterfront so i had to pay for the journey back man. Darn it. Went back to hotel to talk cock and had a few drinks n called room service which was so bloody exp. Cut throat i tell you. I slept quite early man for a holiday.

Day 2 @ Batam:

Woke up at 9am to bath then went to do hair smoothing at the Tea Tree Salon which was cheap and relaible. Charged about 90 sgd for that with a hair cut to the room as it was a birthday present from deary friends. Tried their Spa Siganature. That includes Avocado scrub, 90 min stone massage and face massage. That will set u back about $150 per pax or $280 per couple as there is also this 21% tax amount. So unless u have like floating few thousands, pls do not think about enjoying the spa facilities everyday during ur stay there.Its meant for the rich n famous i am sure. Keke. But seriously one must try tea tree at least once as its really worth the money. There are many packages for you to try. Its service is superb and u realli feel like u r in relaxed haven. Leaving the spa was a truly refreshing n enticing exp. By mid noon I went out with friends to Batam City to Mega Mall to eat A & W(long lost food in spore). Wanted to catch a movie to no avail. Friends decided to go back to hotel to rest aft walking the entire mall and guess wad we all bought nothing as there is seriously nothing there interesting, wanted to get levis but i have tons in spore so decided to not waste money la. Wanted to get a memory card and the one i wanted was sold out. Giant had it but they said the person selling it is off for today and they told me to come back tom instead. I felt like shouting in their faces telling to be more efficient can. One sales staff off and no need to do biz is it? Damn dumb lo.
Went back to hotel to rest, btw did i tell u i was given a 2 bedroom suite instead of one due to inavalability. So much speace with no occupants as my friends had another 2 bedroom suite. Imagine i cld prob prac qigong in the room or something man. Well the suite was clean, 2 bathrooms n bedrooms, living room, dining area and balcony. Too big not sure what I cld do with all that space. Bigger than spore's 5 rm, so imagine how congested spore is.
My friends were in such a hurry to go back hotel, i really wondered why man and i found out when i went to the room. They got staff to put up ballons n decor for my 26th bird day. Walau i so old le lo, balllons quite young type but nvm i still like. That was the first surprise.
My 2nd was a birthday gift which prob costs few k fm Andy Yeo. The Chanel bag that I hv been bitching about. Yeah he said u like so i buy lo. Ok lo i say thank u n take lo. Hehehe.
The 3rd surprise, dinner was sup to be out at Sea. But it turned out to be Private Dinner in Private rm by the Pool called Mawar which is rose i think. I had a private Butler too, his name was Eddie i tink. Thumbs up la he was always waiting out of the transparent glass house waiting for us to finish his course. I felt so bad u know, dun like ppl waiting on me. But anyway the 5 course dinner there was good, I appreciated it alot. It boils down to the sincerity of friends really, they even planned menu with chef to cater the dishes to my wishes. Imagine that. So many staffiin Hol Inn knew it was my Birthday and i was in the dark. So next time dear frens, pls dun reveal my real age can. Paiseh lei. So old le, Lao Cai. Ha. 4th surprise was the door bell ringing and i got a birthday cake with flowers and champagne. How sweet can friends get right? So basically that the surprises i got plus some jewellery fm them. Then i asked them for more and got scolder. They mentioned, so many not enuff ah, stil young ah? Deserved that man!

3rd Day @ Batam:

Went out to find water sports n to see what resorts Batam had in Store. Water sports there super exp la i tell u. Jet ski costs about 130 per hour so u say lei. For the rich n famous again rite?
Did a little water sports as i felt the pinch then went ard the island to survey which resort to stay in next time i came Batam. And Turi won of course. Its new, beautifully streched upwards towarsd a hill. Beautiful rooms and serene surroundings. Big landscaped area which is simply breath taking. After recky Turi, Batam View and I can rem 2 more, i still decided Turi was the best.
Next activity was to go Go Kart. This is opened by us Sporeans and it costs 18 4 every 15 mins. The water sports near water front also the same opened by us so that explains why so exp huh. Let me tell u again its exp and the track is not well kept at all. So u may want to consider doing that. U can do it cheaper in Spore anyways so dun try. I would never wanna do it again and u know why bcoz i drove into a bloody swamp. Really sucks man had to walk out barefooted in mud and all. So obviously I am liek any typical woman driver man. SUCK AT IT.
Had dinner at the kelong called Golden Prawn. 4 ppl at SGD 88. Six dishes with CRAB, FISH, SCALLOPS, GONG GONG, VEGE AND I cant rem the last dish man. Its been 2 weeks since i came back u know.
Went for massage again at Indo Thai i think. That was good massage again at SGD 25 or so and it realli awakened me. My bones all felt good there after a long hard day at fun.
Dinner was good followed by drinks la what else.

4th Day at Batam:

Bought gifts for friends n family and Indonesia's famous Kueh Lapis. @ least 25 ppl in queue b4 me so i am not revealing where ok. My family n close friends will all get to eat each time i go not to worry. Headed home on the 4.15 ferry. And it was home sweet home. I truly enjoyed my trip. I felt so much better returning to work on Monday though i wad flooded with work. :>

Hoping to go on a one day spa trip with sis in Nov. will prob return on a weekend soon to Batam, for their seafood and spa. Will prob stay in Hol Inn again, fond memories. Toodles dear friends till the next time.

Is it Really Enough?

Being in the HR & Finance frontier all the time and dollars and cents playing a great deal in my life, the new maternity package plays a great deal to my work life. And when I say $ & cents, its not that I am calculative, in my daily personal life nopes but at work def yes as I have to ensure everyone gets paid on time and in its most accurate form. Well back to the enhanced maternity package, the question is really whether it would help increase the birth rate in Spore. My personal opinion would be a no as I have more than enough to handle from my two kids and to me it takes not just monetary amounts to raise children, it takes a pure heart that wants to do all to protect our young ones and most imptly energy and preservation to not give up. Many a times we do not consider all factors and sometimes only by going thru it will one learn the true aspects of it. So basically its your take and all about being ready for Parenthood and not how much spore gives us to inc the birth stats. So what is your view?

So anyway coming back to the new enhanced package, it would mean memorising and understanding many new rules, calculations change and it would do alot of changes to HRIS as the application does not apply to all like before. You would have to be a Sporean or at least a PR. So thats a lot of work to do for HRIS. Well I guess its all about making adjustments and getting used to.

And boy am I glad I have kids who are such a joy to my life. There are the first persons who greet you with smiles and happiness and also the last to kiss goodnight to each night as we turn in.

Had a eventful saturday. I was running ard spore with Kayla in tow. And i didnt bring my pram. Was at Paya Lebar early morning then was at Jurong Pt to meet my dear friend Andy. Andy bought a stroller for Kayla seeing how diffi it was for me to carry her ard and some toys for Jonath. It was super crowded at Jurong Pt as they were trying gather some cute babies for this 'Qiao Bao Bao BB Prog'. I could hardly walk thru. At toys r us, Kayla went on a rampage and played with all the toys she could. Before I knew it, she was fast asleep when we were on our way to Science Centre.
We bought tickets to watch The Grand Canyon at Omni Theatre at 5pm and had pancakes at this little cafe. The Gelato Pancake was really nice and Kayla was awake by some grinding sound. So we all watched the Grand Canyon together. She was fascinated by the graphics and all. The Grand Canyon was showing us all how to save water to protect the Colarado rivers which were dryign up to the Global warming, i never knew rivers to be such, it was an eye opener for me and I really admired the beauty of it. We wanted to catch the Dinosaurs alive at 7pm but the counter staff dissuaded us as the show had loud sounds and some kids would cry and if your kids cry, you would be asked to leave the theatre. So it was pointless as the tickets were not cheap, $10/pax. More costly than our normal movies.

Aft Omni, we went to Cable Car tower and bought return tickets. It was wet weather yesterday but when we reached Sentosa, the rain had subsided and Kayla was still asleep, the cable car took us to Imbiah station and we had to tk the monorail to the beach station. Has dinner at Tastes of Spore where they served local fare, as usual when you are with Andy, u tend to eat alot because he orders alot. We had the Lobster Laksa, Chick Rice, Chicken Wings ($8.50 for 3, pure mad ppl order only) and Pumpkin Soup. Everything tasted well. Poor thing his first meal of the day bcoz he was actually felling quite sick. Well at least he enjoyed his first meal. We wanted to catch the Song of the Seas and the Tiger tower. But we took so long to eat that we missed both.

So the day ended and Kayla and I went home bushed. We washed up, watched a little tv tog and went to slp. That summed up our Saturday and we sure did have fun.
In case anyone wondering where Kel is, He is away on long work trip till Nov or so. So till then Kayla, Jonath and I are on our own and we will have fun tog on weekends. Mummy will be here to protect both of u. :>

Freaky Dry Eyes

Been feeling really awful lately as my eyes have been irritating me. Lenses are out and what I have ordered just came in today (1 week late, my fault for being last min), so imagine how awful and dry my gigantic eyes are. In case u didnt know, my job nature requires myself to see figures, face the pc, solve pay issues and pay on time by the mills what else. Been tied up with it matters and my daily dosages of numbers. Began blogging avidly these couple of days to relief the tension in me. Was looking around for articles on dry eyes syndrome and found the following info from Acuvue's website very useful.

First and foremost, the older you get, the more likely it is for your eyes to be prone to this syndrome, due to the normal aging process of your body. This is especially common for women during menopause, when the body starts to produce less oil – some 60% less at the age of 65 than at the age of 18 – and this makes lubricating tears evaporate more rapidly than it used to. As a result, the cornea is left dehydrated in many areas, and the eyes feel dry.

Certain medications like antihistamines, anti–depressants, some blood pressure medications and birth control pills can cause dry eyes. Physical problems like thyroid conditions and diseases like Parkinson's and Sjögren's are also causes.

when it's hot, dry or windy, or at high altitudes – and environmental factors like air–conditioning, dry heating, dust and cigarette smoke, can cause dry eye syndrome.
When working long hours on the computer, the eye is constantly focused on the screen and neglects to blink enough to lubricate itself, causing an uncomfortable dryness.
In some cases, long term contact lens usage can be a cause of dry eye syndrome – in fact, dry eyes are a rather common complaint amongst contact lens wearers.
Some of the obvious signs of dry eye syndrome include the persistent dryness, scratching and burning in the eyes. You might also experience the feeling of having a foreign particle lodged in your eye. Oddly, watery eyes can also be a sign of dry eye syndrome. This is because the eye works to overcome excessive dryness by over stimulating the production of the watery component of your tears.
Some people may also experience redness of the eyes, and an increase in discomfort after periods of activity which require the eyes to focus, like watching television, reading and working on the computer.

While dry eye syndrome, depending on the cause, can be an ongoing condition that may not be permanently cured, the dryness and itching that accompanies it can be subdued.
Artificial tears – essentially lubricating eye drops – may be prescribed by the doctor to alleviate that dreaded dry and scratchy feeling. Not all eye drops are effective against dry eye syndrome – many off the shelf varieties simply soothe the redness of the eyes rather than treat the cause of the redness – be it environmental irritation or some other cause.
If you wear contact lenses, make sure you pick the type of eye drops that can be used with contact lenses. Note that many kinds of eye drops, especially artificial tears, cannot be used while you are still wearing your lenses. Rewetting drops, specially formulated for contact lens wearers, is usually sufficient for temporary relief against mild cases of dry eyes.

If you wear contact lenses for long periods, give your eyes a rest. If you have dry eye syndrome, your contact lenses could feel uncomfortable in your eyes. The constant rubbing of the lenses against the conjunctiva could aggravate the condition. And pick super moist contact lenses with a high water content, to keep your eyes well lubricated.

When reading, watching television or working at the computer, stop periodically – about once every 20 minutes – to give your eyes a break and remember to blink!

If you suspect that, your dry eye syndrome is being caused by the environment – that is, if you smoke or work in a smoky place, live in a particularly dusty or dry city – then take steps to reduce your exposure to these elements. Wear sunglasses whenever you head outdoors. Proper sunglasses, with adequate UV protection lenses and protective wraparound frames, not only shield your eyes from the sun, but also give an added layer of protection against wind, dirt and dust particles in the air. At home, use an air cleaner to filter out dust and mould particles in the air. If your home is air-conditioned or heated, get a humidifier to add moisture.
Artificial tears can offer temporary relief. But pick the thicker formulations as these remain in the eyes longer and you'll need to reapply them less frequently. And use only the preservative–free, commercially prepared formulations.

Soak a washcloth with warm water, squeeze out the excess moisture and place it over your close eyelids for 10 minutes several times a day. This helps to unclog the oil glands in the eyelids to free the flow of oil in your eyes, thus keeping them lubricated naturally.
Sit away from blasting air vents or turn the vents away from you. Heating or air-conditioning can dry out your eyes quickly.

Drink lots of water to keep your body hydrated.

Minimize your time in harsh weather conditions.

Check with your doctor to know if the medication you are on is the cause of your dry eyes.
Load up on foods high in nutrition for the eyes, especially foods that are rich in vitamins A, C and E.

Get lots of sleep to keep your eyes well rested and healthy.

So in the meantime, its time for me to drift off to sleep as I have to wake up super early tomorrow to transmit funds to the bank. Zzzzz

Holiday Inn Resort Better Choice

After doing my ground checks and surfing around, I have made up my mind to stay in Holiday Inn, in a one bedroom Suite instead. I managed to get a good rate which includes a 80sqm suite, one room, one dining area and living area plus a so called nice balcony. It includes breakfast and land transfer. Reason being 4 Holiday to Harris: Better prices and quality honest customer service during my enquries. Its a lazy sunday and basically its all stay home doign the weekly chores, playing with Kayla, studying and avidly writing from yours sincerely.

So here some pics for Holiday Inn Batam. I intend to have q quiet birthday in Batam away from the Hussle and Bustle of Spore. I guess its been a turmoil for me the past few mths and I really deserve a break on my special day. Have even planned a couple of things i wanna do there. Am bringing Kayla this time so I hope she enjoys herself just like how I would.

Was reading thru a friend's blog n went thru this website called blogstars.org so in order to read n find out more, i hads to register myself. Its quite interesting but I still like blogger better as I am the contemporary kind and I like the easy way out. I like putting time only in things I wanna learn. I know sounds kinda selfish but thats Sab ok so get used to it. So i am trying to upload the same pic here to blogstars, hopefully i get it right.

Am planning a weekend n birthday getaway to Batam, ha. What a location right? But i heard it has cleaned up quite abit. So why not since i have never been there. So heres sharing with everyone what the rooms at Harris look like. I have already booked and confirmed Holiday Inn but since I have not paid, i decided to look at Harris Resort which is also not too bad and emailed them today.

I do not believe in the Indonesians u know bcoz i got cheated of my dough back in Bali. So my experience today with Harris Resort proved none the wise. This guy called Uli replied to my enquries via email. He told me: Dear Sabrina,

Fuck Shit aint it, a drop in 50 bucks per nite within 5 mins. So these ppl really cant be trusted ok. After which the following emails were for cheaper rooms like the Jap designed and Family room which is the foto above which has kids bed n all. So cosy na. So right now I am deciding btw Harris and Holiday Inn as both offer reasonable rates and quality rooms at Batam. Promise to post my pics when I am back. Cheers everyone!

Btw I am torn btw Hr & Finance now. Will make up my mind once I get a positive reply next week, I know what I want deep down but I just do not dare to take the leap at times. :<

As I was typing away my little princess fell asleep on the flr. So I carried her to the room where she could rest better. She was so active the entire day and finally fell into slumber. She is so adorable always sucking on her thumbs in slp. :>

And the rest of the pics was with Andy at little Andre's Birthday party last wednesday. The part was at Chevron at Jurong East. Very nice cosy chalets i must say, only 6 units and not overcrowded. They have the bowling alley, pool, Karoake and god knows what else. Enjoyed myself. There were his family and his many working colls as well as the workers from his factory. Well I must say Closet Design is a big org as they have really nice closets and good designers. A definite reccomendation. If u noticed on the 9pm Fann wong serial, they use Closet Design's closets as well. State of the art.

And in case u guys are wondering, Andy is an old time friend of mine who was also my boss at a point of time.

And yes i Know there is problem with my pic size, will try to resolve it soon. Shucks if i know how to la.

Read this somewhere, think life not always so sweet but the story really moved me and maybe we shld all learn from it.

"On my wedding day, I carried my wife in my arms. The bridal car stopped in front of our one-room flat. My buddies insisted that I carry her out of the car in my arms. So I carried her into our home. She was thenplump and shy. I was a strong and happy bridegroom.This was the scene of ten years ago.The following days were as simple as a cup of pure water: we had a kid,I went into business and tried to make more money. When the assets were steadily increasing, the affections between us seemed to ebb. She was a civil servant. Every morning we left home together and got home almost at the same time. Our kid was studying in a boarding school.Our marriage life seemed to be enviably happy. But the calm life was more likely to be affected by unpredictable changes.

Dew came into my life.It was a sunny day. I stood on a spacious balcony. Dew hugged me frombehind. My heart once again was immersed in her stream of love. This was the apartment I bought for her.Dew said, You are the kind of man who best draws girls eyeballs. Herwords suddenly reminded me of my wife. When we just married, my wifesaid, Men like you, once successful, will be very attractive to girls.Thinking of this, I became somewhat hesitant. I knew I had betrayed my wife. Or, I was lounging before the computer, visualizing Dew’sbody. This was the means of my entertainment.One day I said to her in a slight joking way, suppose we divorce, whatwill you do? She stared at me for a few seconds without a word.Apparently she believed that divorce was something too far away fromher. I couldn t imagine how she would react once she got to know I wasserious.

When my wife went to my office, Dew had just stepped out. Almost all the staff looked at my wife with a sympathetic eye and tried to hide something while talking with her. She seemed to have got some hint. She gently smiled at my subordinates. But I read some hurt in her eyes.Once again, Dew said to me, He Ning, divorce her, O.K.? Then we livetogether. I nodded.

I knew I could not hesitate any more.When my wife served the last dish, I held her hand. I ve got somethingto tell you, I said.She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.Suddenly I didn t know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her knowwhat I was thinking. I want to divorce. I raised a serious topic calmly.She didn t seem to be much annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? . I m serious. I avoided her question. This so-calledanswer turned her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man!At that night, we didn t talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardlygive her a satisfactory answer, because my heart had gone to Dew.With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which statedthat she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. Sheglanced at it and then tore it into pieces. I felt a pain in my heart.The woman who had been living ten years with me would become a stranger one day. But I could not take back what I had said.Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer.
1 late night, I came back home after entertaining my clients. I saw her writing something at the table. I fell asleep fast. When I woke up, I found she was still there. I turned over and was asleep again.She brought up her divorce conditions: she didn t want anything from me,but I was supposed to give her one months time before divorce, and inthe month s time we must live as normal life as possible. Her reason was simple: our son would finish his summer vacation a month later and shedidn t want him to see our marriage was broken.She passed me the agreement she drafted, and then asked me, He Ning, do you still remember how I entered our bridal room on the wedding day?This question suddenly brought back all those wonderful memories to me.I nodded and said, I remember . You carried me in your arms , she continued, so, I have a requirement, that is, you carry me out in your arms on the day when we divorce. From now to the end of this month, you must carry me out from the bedroom to the door every morning.

I accepted with a smile. I knew she missed those sweet days and wished to end her marriage with a romantic form.I told Dew(BITCH) about my wife s divorce conditions. She laughed loudly andthought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she does, she has to face the result of divorce, she said scornfully. Her words more or less mademe feel uncomfortable.My wife and I hadn t had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. We even treated each other as a stranger.

So when I carried her out for the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly, Let us start from today, don t tell our son. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for bus, I drove to office.
On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on mychest. We were so close that I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn t looked at this intimate woman carefully for along time. I found she was not young any more. There were some finewrinkles on her face.

On the third day, she whispered to me, The outside garden is being demolished. Be careful when you pass there.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I seemed to feel that we were still an intimate couple and I was holding my sweetheart in my arms. The visualization of Dew became vaguer.
On the fifth and sixth day, she kept reminding me something, such as,where she put the ironed shirts, I should be careful while cooking, etc.I nodded. The sense of intimacy was even stronger.I didn t tell Dew about this.I felt it was easier to carry her.

Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. I said to her, It seems not difficult to carry you now.She was picking her dresses. I was waiting to carry her out. She tried quite a few but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, All mydresses have grown fatter. I smiled. But I suddenly realized that it was because she was thinner that I could carry her more easily, not becauseI was stronger. I knew she had buried all the bitterness in her heart.Again, I felt a sense of pain. Subconsciously I reached out a hand to touch her head.Our son came in at the moment. Dad, it s time to carry mum out. He said.To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had been an essential part of his life. She gestured our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face because I was afraid I would change my mind at the last minute. I held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom,through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly, as if we came back to our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.

On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step.Our son had gone to school. She said, Actually I hope you will hold me in your arms until we are old.I held her tightly and said, Both you and I didn t notice that our lifewas lack of such intimacy.
I jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my decision. I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door. I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I won t divorce. I'm serious.She looked at me, astonished. The she touched my forehead. You got no fever. She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I can only say sorry to you, I won t divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn t value the details of life, not becausewe didn t love each other any more. Now I understand that since Icarried her into the home, she gave birth to our child, I am supposed to hold her until I am old. So I have to say sorry to you.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into cry. I walked downstairs and drove to the office.When I passed the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet for my wife which was her favorite. The salesgirl asked me to write the greeting words on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out everymorning until we are old."

Today is holiday for me, i wont say why and I am feeling kinda emo right now at work. So I decided to fish out my cam and snap myself, who else. Selfish me. Lunch just over and bought myself two tops after eating with Dor and SL.

Got to run for classes aft work. So sleepy u know, last night was fitful sleep for me. Its like I closed my eyes and the next thing is day bright le. I normally do not wake up so easily but today I practically sprang up, like I am so eager to go work. Ha.

Anyway am meeting A aft work today, we supp to eat dinner with the short span of time we have. Lets hope I do not get techno when I am home. Got to go back to my pile of work b4 I cant finish by the deadline. Toodles.

Bali Trip 10 - 13 July 2008

Was over in Bali last 3 week, did not really enjoy thou i enjoyed the company.
I was staying at Kuta Beach and the beach was beautiful but no water sports allowed there
as the wave is too high. Surfing was enjoyed by many others esp the caucasians thou.

Well I am not sure why i did not like Bali, guess its just not my cup of tea. I did manage to piece my thoughts and came to a conclusion on what was bugging me. I came back to spore with a peaceful mind. I've made up my mind about few things and in time to come my decisions will be revealed.

First day in Bali, we arrived in the morning bout 8.30. Had bfast at beach blub then went for spa and massage at i cant rem which hotel. Had pancakes and Bintang beer at 11 in the morning. Weather was fantastic. Relaxed myself at the spa after sleeping like a log during massage. Enjoyed the jacuzzi and the service of this traditional Balinese treatment. I Started the journey of getting my clothes togther for the trip. I brought a super big bag with only my facial and hair stuff and the hairdryer and of coz my inner wear. So basically my entire trip's fashion was bought from the streets of Kuta. Had the best seafood dinner that night and trust me it wad the last. The next few meals i had were expensive, boring and not very tasty. After getting 2 days of attire together, we were cheated of about 300,000 ruppiah by a money changer by the road, God Gamn It! But we learnt our lesson from there and changed if needed with the hotel thou the rate was much lesser. That nite we had drinks at the Beach Club by Kuta Beach and found out what was in store on the entire strip was nothing fantastic aft all.

Next morning slept in and went shopping again.Lunch was good - dun ask me where i ate i can walk u there but i cant rem the names at all. Did lots of shopping... Retail therapy is always good.

Noon was jetskiing in Nusa Dua which so expensive but we managed to negotiate a good enough price.

So the rest of the trip was like eating by the sea (Jimaran) which was not fantastic and alot of bbq seafood involved that i am not going to eat that for the next one mth. Lots of massage, the best was at Alam Kuku and lots of beer and shopping.

Boy was I glad to be back in Spore. Managed to even watch a movie at Bugis when i was back. Was really glad to be back home.

I wnt be penning in the next 1 mth or so. Will be very busy with work and tomorrow its back to school for me. Can u imagine work, school and the kids. Hopefully i do fine juggling everything together.

Been super busy this whole year juggling work, the kids and some other misc not worth mentioning. Am expecting more of my hectic life the rest of this year but hey I am not complaining. Trying to get a day's leave this week to go do up my hair and look better, I have been putting up my lion;s mane up in a hair band and its really thick and unruly. Think i am gonna do something to pamper myself this coming week. Yoohoooo...

As I am typing this with whatever little time i have, my little dotter is pushing her dolly in the pram at the back and its time for me to go off again. Toddles.

Went out with Casey and we lazed around like its on holiday. Yup, we lazed around for good. We ate brunch, tea and many more.... and not forgetting, together we smoked our lungs out. And dun think silly thots hor, who say guy n girl cannot go out and hv a decent rship. They can ok.. To be honest I have more bgfs than gfs lo, maybe i chor lao thats why, keke.

In case u didnt know, I hv known Casey since days in SHRI. He was my guiding light i tell u, i used to sleep in class and he would let me copy all the lecturer taught. Took notes for me and signed my attendance when i didnt come. In all, he is a super good fren lo. So girls out there, i would be glad to recommend ok. I mean guy like him with career, looks and character, what more can u ask for?

So the in thing about me these days are work, dinner and kids. Friends twice or thrice a week. Very balanced person i tell u. :)

Ok till next time, need to try out some new mask that I bought. Bought some Estee Lauder some time back, replenish of stock actually and ended up buying cosmetics i shld not be buying. Tsk tsk.

Busy week for the entire week for me at work and this week would be more hectic than the usual as the run is closing.

Had my princess first bday party at home on the 23rd of Feb 2008.

Caught with many friends and family that I have been out of touch for a while.

Been really busy with work since last Oct, finally had some time to meet up with all.

It was quite an easy set up as I had many supportive family members who did a little of everything.

The night ended quite late after a session of 21. we had fun but it was so tiring.

Kayla was quite tired after all as well and we slept soundly thru out the night.

Hi Everyone I am back with a new hobby after adjusting myself to my new worklife in Singhealth, yes, in case i am not filling you in enough, I am no longer with SCPL. Its been about 3 mths now that I have come out of my comfort zone.

Well I would have to say that I am happy in my current position still in the learning stage trying to adjust to speaking more mandarin.

And yes back to my new hobby, its Bowling with my sis and bro and hub and the babies, normally our babies will not let us have much peace till they really doze off. Well we foursome just love travelling around for the best bowling deals and having 6 - 8 games at a time.

So my new rsesolutions: 1) to Lose some weight 2) to bowl better 3) world peace <-- I am serious la.

Well I have not been blogging for the longest time as I have been really busy in my new job and also because my life has been really topsy turvy, I have been chasing and running and its really tiring on me emotionally. Sometimes its really difficult to find peace of mind but in reality its just there and we fail to see it. I believe to see the rainbow, we all have to put up with the rain. And I hope I see mine soon.

Work is really hectic at the moment as its approaching year end and theres lots to tidy uo for the audit period as well.

Holidays are around the corner, just got Baby's passport today. We are going to Genting as per normal which is a yearly affair. Kel and me are leaving much later as I cannot get away. We will be driving up on our own. Lets hope this trip will be an enjoyable one. Sis, Bro and Syaza are going too. :>

Hello, everyone I am back. I am finally back and am in full gear to blog. Been really busy the past month as I was in the midst of resigning and switching and adjust to the new environment. Its been nearly a mth since I started at my new work place and I am quite happy with where I am now. Office environment splendid and I have good view being on the highest level. I have a bunch of helpful colleagues.
